LONDON (Reuters) – Petra Diamonds sold a 507-carat diamond for $35.3 million on Friday, breaking a record as the highest price ever paid for a rough diamond.
Analysts had estimated the value of the stone, one of the 20 biggest high-quality rough diamonds, at around $25 million.

He's currently in Atlanta working on a mixtape with B.O.B. or Bobby Ray (idk) tentatively titled "CHX and B.O.B: Freshman Friday" and he's recently decided he wants to become a female rapper. I'M DEAD SERIOUS!!! Charles has decided he would like to go by the name LADY DOOM from now on. Apparently the music he has been making is really MF Doomish and he'd… Continue

The production credit at least. One of Lady GaGa's producers who also produced "Bootylicious" says he came up with the track but when he saw Beyonce take credit for the idea in a television interview he called and flipped on Matthew Knowles. Matthews explanation was that he was a nobody and you have to make people believe the "artist is everything" to sell records.

The desperate search for missing "Growing Pains" star Andrew Koenig ended Thursday with the grisly discovery of his body in a densely wooded area of a Vancouver park.
"My son took his own life," devastated dad Walter Koenig, who played Chekov on the original "Star Trek" TV series, said during an afternoon press conference. "He was obviously in a lot of pain."

The owner of the Acura that barreled over a young Bloomberg aide in a Brooklyn hit-and-run spoke out for the first time Thursday, blaming her institutionalized sister.

Eight people have been hit by subway trains over the last 13 days in a baffling spike of suicides, attempted suicides and accidents, the Daily News has learned.
There was as much carnage on the tracks between Feb. 13 and Wednesday as there typically is during an entire month, NYC Transit statistics reveal.

Lucian Grainge, Chairman and CEO of Universal Music Group International out in the UK, will replace Doug Morris as CEO of Universal Music Group (UMG) January 1, 2011. UMG is the parent company of Def Jam and as you may know L.A. Reid is the Chairman of The Island Def Jam Music Group. I'm hearing when he takes over there will be a lot of "re-structuring" at Universal and Mr. Reid's head may be on the chopping block. Apparently Lucian isn't happy with a string of disappointing… Continue

It wasn't a very happy 27th birthday for singer Juelz Santana: Sources say his blowout bash on Monday night was ruined by Snoop Dogg and several other rowdy partygoers.
An insider spotted Snoop arriving at the fete at M2 Ultralounge with an entourage of more than 20 and a four-man security team, which clogged W. 29th St. so badly that the NYPD came to investigate.
"Snoop's caravan was beyond outrageous," says the spy. "It was taking… Continue
