One of Lady GaGa's producers who also produced "Bootylicious" says he came up with the track but when he saw Beyonce take credit for the idea in a television interview he called and flipped on Matthew Knowles. Matthews explanation was that he was a nobody and you have to make people believe the "artist is everything" to sell records.
