Here's a good reason to end a friendship.
An Australian amateur tattoo artist allegedly punked his friend by secretly inking a penis on his back instead of the art he promised to do.

The 21-year-old reportedly persuaded his friend, 25, to let him go to work on his back while they were hanging out one afternoon.

"The victim wasn't interested at first, but he was talked into it and he said he wanted a Yin and Yang symbol with some dragons," Detective Constable Paul Malcolm told the Queensland Times. "He rolled him on to his stomach and the bloke started doing the tattoo and there was another bloke standing there watching saying, 'Mate, it's looking really good.'"

Well, that depends on who you ask.

When the unwitting victim got home and showed it to his roommate, police said she told him, "I don't think it's the tattoo you were after."

Instead of the harmless cliché yin-yang he was expecting, the man found his back was actually etched with a 16-inch tattoo of a penis, embellished with what the Times describes as an obscene slogan "implying he was gay."

Not only that, the slogan was misspelled.

The tattoo victim called the police, and his (former) friend has been charged with two counts of assault.

He is due in court Nov. 15.

Now the victim has to shell out some serious cash – and endure a painful procedure – to get his ink removed.

One tattoo artist told the Times it could cost $600 to $2000 to get rid of the image.

The permanent prank could have been an act of revenge, according to Australia's Courier Mail, which reports the tattooing occurred after the two men got into a fight.

According to the paper, the victim said he was punched and thrown out of the house after he was given the tattoo – as if having just been marked with a giant penis wasn't enough for one afternoon.
