Usher's Herpes Lawsuit Accuser Claims He's Hiding His Assets

The unidentified woman accusing Usher of giving her herpes is now accusing the R&B star of hiding his assets.

The woman, only named as Jane Doe, is suing the “U Got It Bad” singer for $20 million, and in a new claim states that he has quickly hidden his wealth in order to keep it safe if he loses the case, TMZ reports.

Lisa West, the lawyer representing Doe, says in the documents obtained by TMZ that he delayed the discovery process by 90 days, which is cause for concern.

However, sources close to Usher told the gossip site that the claims are “nonsense” and that the 90-day policy is automatic when someone files a motion to dismiss the case, as Usher has done.

Usher first made headlines about transmitting herpes after he paid out $1.1 million to an unidentified woman, who claimed the star infected her with the STD in court documents dated from 2012 obtained by Radar Online.

Those documents revealed that Usher, whose real name is Usher Raymond IV, was diagnosed with herpes in 2009 or 2010.

Three more people accused Usher of exposing them to the disease in early August, including two women and a man.

The "Confessions" singer has been married to Grace Miguel since 2015.
