Trey Songz Released From Detroit Police Custody

R&B artist Trey Songz lost his mind after being informed his set needed to come to an end inside Detroit’s Joe Louis Arena Wednesday evening.

The singer, 32, alerted the crowd and security things would get ugly if his mic was cut prematurely.

He erupted after it was shut off, trashing the stage and hurling objects into the crowd. His tirade resulted in an arrest and left one police officer with a concussion, according to the Detroit Free Press.

Songz, who co-headlined the show with Chris Brown, tore down the equipment behind his drummer then chucked speakers and microphones from the stage into the audience.

Police approached the stage and "tried to calm" the artist, born Tremaine Neverson, according to the Detroit Free Press, but their efforts were in vain.

Songz was then arrested on suspicion of resisting arrest and obstructing, as well as malicious destruction of property. Reports are surfacing that Songz allegedly assaulted an officer, causing injury.

This is the second time in December Songz has clashed with police.

BET reported on a Snapchat video the crooner released about getting booted from the MGM National Harbor Hotel and Casino in Washington, D.C., earlier this month. He states that his crew were kicked out of the casino, but doesn’t give an explanation as to why.

“Hey this is Trey Songz in D.C. with a special message for the f---ing police. F--k y'all. F--k the police. F--k the MGM. F--k all y'all,” he said in the video.

Songz may want to start thinking about anger management instead of his next gig.

Gone do it …..

UPDATE:

Trey Songz is out of police custody after a tirade on stage at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit. He posted bail Thursday afternoon. When he was released from custody, however, he didn't talk to the media or answer any questions. Instead, he took selfies.
