Serena Williams agreed to tie the knot in a thread.
Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian, 33, asked the tennis star to marry him this week and she agreed, the couple announced on the social message board site Thursday.
The 35-year-old US Open champion detailed the proposal on Reddit with a poem.
"I came home / A little late / Someone had a bag packed for me /And a carriage awaited /Destination: Rome /To escort me to my very own "charming" / Back to where our stars first collided / And now it was full circle / At the same table we first met by chance / This time he made it not by chance /But by choice / Down on one knee / He said 4 words And r/isaidyes," she wrote, using the company's trademark style of categorizing posts.
Ohanian, who lives in Brooklyn, didn't add much more to the news, simply sharing the Reddit link to his Facebook page with three simple words: "She said yes."
The superstar athlete and techie first started dating in October 2015, and have rarely discussed their relationship publically.
A source at the time told Us Weekly they "met at a lunch."
A Reddit spokeswoman also tweeted the celebratory news.
"Eeeeeep, so happy for @alexisohanian and @serenawilliams as they start this new adventure together," Diana Chow wrote. "Congrats!"
