Queen Latifah Teams Up With Will Smith For Biopic Film About Her Life And Career

Queen Latifah is turning her life into a feature film with the announcement of her forthcoming biopic. Produced by the Hip-Hop pioneer under her banner, Flavor Unit Entertainment, alongside business partner Shakim Compere, Westbrook Studios, and Jesse Collins Entertainment, the emcee is thrilled to partake in the initiative that’ll launch a slate of upcoming biopics about iconic artists, independently financed by HarbourView Equity Partners. “The firm will provide access to its portfolio of more than 70 music catalogs and thousands of titles spanning numerous genres, eras and artists for potential development opportunities. In a joint statement, Latifah and Compere expressed, “We all came into this industry together and Hip Hop has shaped each and every one of us.
