Ne-Yo Would Perform At Donald Trump’s Inauguration Just For The Paycheck

Ne-Yo is looking to get closer to Donald Trump’s money.

The singer said he would perform at Trump’s inauguration, despite the fact he doesn’t support him and once said he would move to Canada if the billionaire was elected, TMZ reported.

The “Closer” performer was asked at LAX on Friday if he’d sing for the new president and he said, “yeah, I’ll be there,” according to video obtained by TMZ.

“I wouldn’t go because I support Donald Trump, I’d go because it’s a dope party,” he said, smirking.

“I would go, get the check, have a good time and still say the hell with Donald Trump,” Ne-Yo continued while throwing up his middle finger.

There’s no word on who will perform at Donald Trump’s inauguration on Jan. 20.

Elton John was rumored to play for the president-elect, but adamantly shot down the speculation.

“Elton John is going to be doing our concert on the [NATIONAL] mall for the inauguration,” Anthony Scaramucci, vice chair of the presidential inaugural committee, told BBC.

Jamie Foxx said he would have to pass on performing at the affair.

“I’m going to leave all that alone, It’s kind of crazy,” he said in November.

Several Hollywood powerhouses turned out for the two inaugurals of President Obama, including Beyoncé, Jay Z, Bruce Springsteen, Usher and Foxx.

Since most celebrities backed Hillary Clinton this election, it is unlikely Trump would have such a star-studded event, longtime Hollywood publicist Howard Bragman told Fortune.
