Rihanna having a fashion misstep is like a blue moon sighting: it's rare.
But the Barbados-born R&B star had a slip-up Wednesday when she attended her own book signing in a ghastly floral frock.
At a Manhattan Barnes & Noble to promote her self-titled coffee table book, which hit shelves earlier this month, Rihanna donned a button-up, nearly full-length dress that had a pink, white and blue flower print mixed with green hues.
The outfit, which also featured multiple pockets and a nearly thigh-high slit in the front, may have been marginally better had the singer at least worn it in the spring.
But not even Rihanna's champagne-colored pumps, pastel blue nails or vibrant red hair could save this mess. In fact, those things just made the whole ensemble seem even more off target.
Note to RiRi: if you want flowers, check out a Monet painting or give boyfriend Matt Kemp a holler.
