That rumble on the subway is from the passengers, not the trains.
A YouTube video shot aboard a Manhattan-bound No. 4 subway shows a man with a cane scuffling with a woman seated in a handicapped seat after she refused to surrender her spot.
"I'm the paparazzi for inconsiderate people," says the man - who identifies himself as Joey Boots - as he shot video aboard the moving train.
"You're so ugly, too! Fat and ugly. You mad?" he taunts the woman.
Joey Boots is a frequent caller to "The Howard Stern Show," known for interrupting live TV news broadcasts by shouting references to the satellite radio show.
He mentioned the video on his Twitter account, and did not return messages for comment on the incident.
The video - posted on YouTube - apparently begins after the woman refuses his request for the seat designated for handicapped riders.
"Don't take no f------ pictures of me!" she snaps while lunging toward the man.
"Don't f------ hit me!" he shouts back. "That nasty b---- right there. She wouldn't get up. ... Get away from me! Don't hit me!"
The four-minute video clip continues with Joey Boots insulting the woman as she steadfastly refuses to give him the seat.
"I'm not moving," the woman declares when offered a seat by another passenger.
According to the cameraman's version of events, his leg was in a brace and he was forced to use a cane after dislocating his kneecap.
"The face of inconsideration right there," he says before transferring to another train. "Wouldn't get up."
