Kodak Black Sued By Promoter For $500,000 Over Bailing On Concert

Rapper Kodak Black is accused of screwing over a promoter not once, twice but three times, and now the rapper has been hit with a big lawsuit.

An Arizona man named Nicholas Fitts is suing Kodak Black for blowing off multiple concerts, after Kodak executed a talent engagement agreement with Fitts in 2017.

The suit claims Kodak was contractually bound to perform on March 3, 2017 in New York, but he never showed up. The rapper then agreed to do a “makeup date” in April 2017 but didn’t show up AGAIN.

The suit claims Kodak was contractually bound to perform on March 3, 2017 in New York, but he never showed up. The rapper then agreed to do a “makeup date” in April 2017 but didn’t show up AGAIN.

Fitts says he reluctantly agreed to give him another shot and scheduled a third show but Kodak once again blew it off.

The promoter says he spent tens of thousands on the pre-promotion and venue rentals.

He claims to have “suffered a loss of ticket revenue, directly resulting from Kodak Black’s refusal to fulfill his contractual obligations under the terms of the Agreements, totaling more than $500,000.00, including reimbursement of funds from ticket presales.” He also says his reputation has suffered harm as a result of the incident.

Kodak is being sued for in excess of $500,000 in damages.
