Reality show judge Joe Brown is stepping over to the wrong side of the justice system — for a few days.
The TV arbitrator turned himself in Thursday to serve a five-day sentence in a Memphis jail for a contempt of court charge dating back more than a year, WMC reported.
Brown, 68, was charged and very briefly jailed after losing his temper in front of a juvenile court magistrate during a child custody hearing in March 2014.
Brown, who was serving as a lawyer, sternly told the judge he would “close this place down” and asked the judge “what authority” he had during a dispute over due process, as heard in audio obtained by TMZ.
