Drake Short Film ‘Please Forgive Me’ Will Debut On Sept. 30

Drake's new film is bound to get a lot of views.

The Canadian-born rapper announced his short movie "Please Forgive Me" will be released on Sept. 30.

The 29-year-old performer teamed up with director Anthony Mandler — who has worked with Rihanna on past music videos like "Unfaithful" — for the short film, he revealed in an Instagram post Thursday.

The rapper also called on Canadian record producer Noah "40" Shebib to write the musical score. Hits from his most recent album "Views" will also be included.

The post, which featured a shot of actors on the dimly-lit set, garnered nearly 70,000 likes in just one hour.

His initial teaser images for the film each racked in more than 200,000 likes with countless comments from excited fans.

The "Hotline Bling" singer shared a short film titled "Jungle" to his website once before in February 2015. The 14-minute clip was also scored by 40, but it is unclear if Drake directed that video.
