Birdman Announces New ‘Ms. Gladys’ Album Coming In June

Birdman has announced his first solo album in seven years. Ms. Gladys drops this June.

His last album was Priceless, and it came during a time when nearly everything was different for Baby. He was still very close with Wayne while also in the process of breaking Drake – hence “Money to Blow,” the album’s biggest single.

Fast forward to today, and relations seem strained, to say the least. Wayne still has ongoing issues with Baby regarding payment of royalties and the embargoed release of his Carter V album, while Drake seems to have distanced himself from the Cash Money family in the wake of Wayne and Baby’s beef.

Without Wayne or Drake or perhaps even Nicki to help him out with the album, it’s a mystery who exactly Birdman will recruit this go round. Jacquees seems to be his new cash cow, though Neno Calvin is featured on Baby’s latest single “Ms. Gladys,” which you can hear below.

Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan have also distanced themselves from Birdman, so it certainly is an interesting time for Birdman to be dropping an album.
