DMX GETS RELEASED EARLY FROM AN L.A. JAIL!

DMX has just been released from an L.A. jail ... after serving 18 days of a 90-day sentence stemming from a reckless driving conviction in 2002.

RAPPER DMX BEGINS HIS 90 DAY JAIL SENTENCE FOR A 2002 DRIVING CONVICTION!

LOS ANGELES -- Rapper DMX surrendered to a judge Monday to begin serving a 90-day jail sentence for a 2002 reckless driving conviction.

Los Angeles City Attorney spokesman Frank Mateljan said the 39-year-old rapper turned himself in at a downtown courthouse. He said a judge ruled that the rapper cannot be freed on electronic monitoring, work release or home detention.

A judge has denied rapper DMX's request to leave the state so he can be a part of Dr. Drew Pinsky's "Celebrity Rehab" -- which, considering the doc's track record, is probably a good thing.

DMX IS SENTENCED TO SERVE SIX MONTHS FOR VIOLATING HIS PROBATION!

Rapper DMX appeared in a Phoenix, Arizona courtroom on (March 16) to face charges that he violated his probation last week, by using cocaine.



DMX, 39, was sentenced to six months in prison for failing a drug test last June according to prosecutor. He was also ordered to undergo a mental health evaluation.
