DMX isn't wasting any time getting back to work following his early release from prison late last month. Since he was behind bars for the 20th anniversary of his acclaimed It's Dark and Hell Is Hot 1998 debut album, X announced plans Monday (Feb. 4) for a tour in celebration of the classic project.
The 48-year-old will hit the road for 32 shows across the United States, which will kick off in Oklahoma City on March 8 and make stops along the way in NYC, Boston, Atlanta, New Orleans, Dallas, Detroit and Chicago. The trek comes to a close May 7, when DMX takes over the Foxtail in Pittsburgh.
Tickets will be available through X's website beginning Friday, with pre-sale going live at 10 a.m. local venue time. The Yonkers native already returned to the stage for his first post-prison performance during a last-minute appearance at Mr. Ciao nightclub in Staten Island.
