A gang pinned down a 14-year-old boy and attacked him with a snake, forcing the reptile to bite the teenager on the arm, British police said Sunday.
Cops said they were interviewing two teenagers over the attack in the southeast English city of Bristol.
The boy was taken to the hospital for treatment on Saturday after the non-venomous snake, thought to be a python about 4 feet long, sank its fangs into his arm, leaving two puncture… Continue

Respect comes first for Plies. He has to respect you as a man, then as an artist, for him to collaborate with you. For the first time ever, working on his new project, he reached out to fellow rappers. Although he still won't divulge names, he said he collaborated with one MC in Atlanta. Plies said the mainstream audience "won't understand" another collaborator, but the underground will definitely tune in.
"Goon Affiliated, I had the pleasure of… Continue
Apparently a few months ago rapper Joe Budden said in an interview that he thinks he's a better rapper than Method Man. Members of the hip hop group Wu Tang Clan took offense to what Joe said and have threatened him openly on YouTube videos.
Well yesterday while Joe Budden was taping his online show, Raekwon, a popular member of Wu Tang Clan, came up to Joe and confronted him.
Hmmm ... how can we say this without SNITCHING on anyone. O.K. here goes!! According… Continue

Cooked, salted or dried, field mice strung on sticks are sold as a popular delicacy in Malawi markets and roadside stalls.
The mice are hunted in corn fields after the harvest when they have grown plump on a diet of grains, fruits, grass and the odd insect. The most widely eaten species is known locally as Kapuku, gray in color and with a shorter tail than the more common rat.
Young boys have to be quick as they chase the mice through the fields and catch them. But local… Continue

Prospect Park was a sea of violet Thursday night as a Prince-loving crowd watched "Purple Rain" and sang along to every song.
Brooklyn disco group Escort led the sing-along, celebrating the 25th anniversary of Prince's groundbreaking album and the outrageous movie it inspired.
"We love 'Purple Rain' and the '80s!" said Nandini Gopalarathinam, 38, dressed in a purple zebra print dress.
Maybe if they would have used the actual poseable action figures, the producers of "G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra" would have gotten some lively performances. As it is, star Channing Tatum speaks his lines as if someone is pulling the voice cord attached to his neck.
The dialogue, of course, isn't the point of "G.I.Joe," which wasn't screened for critics before opening, and for good reason. Director Stephen Sommers' actioner joins such embarrassing… Continue

The legal split, filed in Bronx Supreme Court, was no surprise to acquaintances of Morgan, who said he has been separated from his wife, Sabina, for about eight years.
"Basically they were divorced without the paperwork," one friend said. "It seems like he has had a different girlfriend every five months or so. In the… Continue

A man in Detroit was charged Tuesday with mailing threatening letters to Jay-Z, his wife, Beyoncé, and football star Jerome Bettis.
The complaint, filed by Bettis, stated that Leon Desmond Barrett has been sending the threesome threats since 2006. Barrett denies the allegations, and claims the letters were sent because of a legitimate — but unknown — dispute with the former Pittsburgh Steelers running… Continue
