Young Thug has finally unloaded his ATL mansion, but he had to take a huge loss on the property.
According to official records, the rapper sold off his 7-bedroom, 11-bathroom, 11,000 sq. ft. home in Atlanta, Georgia for $1,800,000.
The home features a theater rooms, four-car garage, indoor pool, walk out balconies/patios and a full bar.
The real estate listing stated, “This is an entertainers delight! Former Celebrity Home. Million Dollar renovation nestled in an exquisite gated mansion!”
Thug originally listed the pad back in November for $3 million but sat on the market for several months. He had to slash the price several times until it was down to $1.8 million.
He bought the home for $2,750,000 back in 2016, meaning he took a $950k loss on the sale.
The home in question is the same property currently involved in a massive lawsuit, in which Thug is accusing a real estate agent of conspiring to sell him the $2.5 million mansion that was allegedly a money pit.
Back in 2017, Thug was sued by Heritage Select Homes, which claimed the rapper didn’t make a giant $2.2 million payment on the home that was due in March of 2017. The original price of the mansion was $2.475 million, but Thug made a few small payments before the big payment was due.
Thug counter-sued Heritage knew the home had a series of flaws but failed to disclose them. Among the problems, he claims foundation damage, roof problems that led to damaging leaks, and mold in the basement below the indoor pool.
Thug accused Heritage of conspiring with his real estate agent to hire a real estate inspection firm for a sham inspection that would fail to reveal the problems in the home.
He said he shouldn’t have to pay up and wants the lawsuit dismissed. The case is still ongoing.
