With election season in full swing, “Rock the Vote” has enlisted Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan to encourage young voters to get out there and hit the polls. On Monday, November 3, the duo will perform as part of a free, two-hour “Rock the Vote” concert in downtown Atlanta. Election Day is Tuesday, November 4 and Georgia is in the middle of a super competitive Senate race between pro-choice Democrat Michelle Nunn and Republican David Perdue. The state of Georgia will also be voting between Jason Carter (former President Jimmy Carter’s grandson) and Jason Deal for a new state governor.
“As a state with competitive races,” Rock the Vote wrote in a press release, “Georgia makes a compelling case for why it is critical for young people—now more than ever—to turn out to the polls and make their voices heard.”
Young Thug and Rich Homie Quan have shown their support of the right to vote by committing on-camera to register to vote for 2016 with Rock the Vote. You can register for a chance at a free ticket to the show here
