Yaya Mayweather Apologizes To NBA Youngboy, Says He 'Does Help' With Their Child

Yaya Mayweather wants the public to know that her ex-boyfriend, NBA YoungBoy, does indeed has involvement in their son's life. Earlier this week, Iyanna "Yaya" Mayweather, the oldest daughter of Floyd Mayweather Jr., tweeted that the MASA rapper hadn't monetarily contributed to the birthday party of their five-year-old son, Kentrell Gaulden Jr., sometimes known as "KJ." "You giving hoes money to go shopping and buying hoes jewelry, but still haven’t given me money for my son’s birthday party,” Mayweather tweeted on Wednesday (January 7). "You know who paid for my son’s birthday party? MY DAD!!!!!!" The tweet was taken by many to be directed at YoungBoy, who has around twelve children with multiple women, including Mayweather. In a recent Instagram Story posted, Mayweather walked things back by explaining that she was having "personal issues" with the rapper. "Emotions were high and we weren't seeing eye to eye, but that doesn't justify it," Mayweather wrote. "I reacted out of frustration and I own that. "Mayweather added that she wanted to "correct" her previous claim that YoungBoy wasn't "helping" with Kentrell Jr "He does help," she wrote. "Anytime I ask him for anything no matter what it is...even if it's for me he makes it happen. We spoke and he said he would give me the money that was paid for our son's birthday back. I just got upset because it wasn't happening quickly as I wanted and I let my emotions take over." Mayweather concluded that she and YoungBoy are still "learning how to co-parent in a healthy way" for the sake of their son and their individual "peace." "Our disagreements and emotions are not for the internet," she wrote. "And I apologize to him and to anyone who got dragged into something that should've stayed between two parents."
