Wtf! Woman Slashed Her Boyfriend's Dead Ex Face In The Funeral Home

An Oklahoma woman slashed the face of her boyfriend's dead ex-girlfriend after visiting her corpse at a funeral home, police said.

Shaynna Sims allegedly cut her deceased victim's head from her hairline to the tip of her nose in the sickening attack at the Moore Funeral Home Eastlawn Chapel in Tulsa last Thursday.

The cadaver's makeup ended up being smeared and clumps of her hair were thrown to the floor, reports Fox23.

Shocked mourners and staff called cops. Sims fled the chapel but was later found at the dead woman's apartment.

She'd got inby claiming to relatives of the deceased that she was picking up jewelry to wear to the funeral, according to Tulsa World.

Officers found she was carrying a pair of scissors, a box cutter and a folding knife with strands of the dead woman's hair on it.

Sims, who also goes by the surname of Smith, was charged on a misdemeanor complaint of illegal dissection. She could face the more serious charge of vandalizing a corpse.

She remains in jail on $20,000 bond. A court hearing is scheduled for Thursday.

Mystery still surrounds why Sims carried out the horrifying assault.

"I was hoping by now this young lady would have talked and given her motivation behind why she did what she did," said Tulsa Police Department spokesman Sgt. Shane Tuell.

"But apparently she's keeping that to herself," he added.
