WTF! LIL WAYNE'S MANAGER SAYS "MOTHS ALWAYS TRANSFORM INTO BUTTERFLIES"

"Moths always transform into butterflies," Cortez Bryant, Lil Wayne's manager and Chief Visionary Officer of Young Money, tells Rolling Stone. "Wayne continues to reinvent himself, but every phase always ends up a beautiful thing."

Bryant is referring to the DONDA-designed cover art for I Am Not A Human Being II, out today. Unfortunately, moths don't turn into butterflies—but we get his point. The red moth is symbolic of Wayne's evolution in music.

"It's mixtape Weezy – straight street bangers you're going to hear in the club," Bryant added. "The sound is more urban, with no R&B hooks, and the wordplay is still incredible and shocking – every bar has some witty punchline. Wayne really took it back to his roots."

It reminds Birdman of the traditional Cash Money sound with Wayne going "back to raw rapping and beats with lots of swagger." He adds that tracks like "Lay It Down," the Diplo-produced banger featuring Nicki Minaj is "not a normal hip-hop track" with beats that "sound like it came from outer-space." He's not a human being, remember?

Head over to Rolling Stone to read more, and look for Wayne's album that drops today.
