IN THE STREETS & ON THE WEB

ALF may only be alien, but that doesn't mean he can't swear like a sailor.
A blooper reel from the framily friendly 1980s sitcom "ALF" showing the puppet using the N-word repeatedly has gone viral after being featured on the BadTVBlog.

Rehearsal footage, which was posted a year ago but surfaced on YouTube last week, shows the furry alien spoofing a 1989 episode of "L.A. Law" featuring a character with Tourette Syndrome, a disorder in which the victim swears uncontrollably.

In the clip, ALF, a hand-puppet manned by series creator Paul Fusco, curses, uses sexual innuendo with one of his female co-stars (Andrea Elson, who played his host family's teen daughter) and uses the racial epithet.

The N-word entersthe clip around the 4:40 mark.
