It's a boy for Sir Elton John and his longtime partner, David Furnish.
The two announced they were the proud parents of Zachary Jackson Levon Furnish-John, born Christmas Day to a surrogate in California, USMagazine.com reported Monday night.
"We are overwhelmed with happiness and joy at this special moment," the proud papas, who married in 2005, told the website in a joint statement.
They aren't the first celeb couple to have a baby via a surrogate this year. In October "How I Met Your Mother" star Neil Patrick Harris and his partner David Burtka welcomed adorable twins born to a surrogate mother.
For John and Furnish, the baby joy came after the Ukraine government rejected their plea to adopt a 14-month-old child that was HIV-positive.
Luckily, there is now a happier ending for the couple.
"Zachary is healthy, doing really well," they said. "And we are proud and happy parents."
