WOW! A MYSTERY HERO PULLS A SHARK BY IT'S TAIL TO STOP IT FROM EATING A WOMAN DIVER!

Good to know happy endings are not just reserved for the movies.
A young woman survived a brutal shark attack after a courageous man drove the animal away.

The man pulled the shark’s tail until it let go of the 19-year-old diving instructor diving instructor Elyse Frankcom. He then grabbed her and brought her up to the rescue boat as she began to sink in a pool of her blood, about 30 miles south of Perth, Australia, the Associated Press reports.

Franckom is in stable condition after undergoing a six-hour surgery, that apparently included the removal of a shark’s tooth from her buttocks, the Australian reports.

The man, known as Trevor, told Terry Howson, the owner of Rockingham Wild Adventures, where Frankcom worked, that he does not want any rewards, according to the Australian.

"He goes, 'I just did something, I didn't plan it, I just did something and it paid off and that's great. But I don't want a commendation, I don't want credit'," Howson told the Australian.

Franckom was attacked while guiding a group dive with dolphins on Saturday. The shark was either a great white or a whaler shark, Department of Fisheries spokesman Tony Cappelluti told the Associated Press.

The attack is the latest in a string of attacks that turned Australia into a real-life set of the 1975 film Jaws.

In August a 31-year-old Perth surfer died after bleeding to death from shark bites.

In January 2009 three people were mauled by sharks in just 24 hours. Fortunately all three survived the assaults.
