According To Gatecrasher: WHITNEY HOUSTON was addicted to Jermaine Jackson. A source close to the Jackson 5 star claims Houston couldn’t quit him, calling Jackson in the wee hours of the morning about five years years ago to confess she was leaving then-husband Bobby Brown and wanted to marry him. Jackson was then married to his second wife, Alejandra, but the source says he considered Houston’s offer. Earlier this week, reports surfaced that Jackson and Houston enjoyed a year-long affair in the early ’80s while Jackson was married to his first wife. Jackson’s attorney Virgil Roberts did not respond to our request for comment by deadline.

By the way, a source who knew the late Tupac Shakur says the rap icon was also obsessed with Houston. The source tells us that Shakur, who was murdered in 1996, asked her to track down Houston’s cell-phone number. “He told me that if a brother with money like him stepped to her she would leave Bobby.” Alas, the friend couldn’t locate Houston’s digits.
