Video: Teen Girls Beat Up & Rob A Ice Cream Man

These attackers had a sweet tooth and a bitter attitude.

Three North Carolina teenagers beat up an ice cream man in Charlotte and recorded video of the robbery.

The clip, posted to Facebook, showed how the assault started when one of the girls opened the lid to the man's ice cream vending cart.

The man tried to close it, but the teen began slapping him, WSOC reported.

Other teens laughed in the background as the girl repeatedly hit the man, who looked like he was trying to shield himself from the attack.

"It seems like he's not trying to fight back initially, like he just wants to be left alone," said Charlotte resident Manuel Fuentes, who found the video online and reported it to the TV station.

He continued: "It's just not right because the man didn't do anything,"

Soon another girl and a teen boy jumped in. They lunged at the ice cream man and punched him before they ran away, the video showed.

Police said the three teens also robbed the ice cream vendor.

Officers arrested one of the teens shortly after the video surfaced. Daishaun Tyrone Burney was charged with common law robbery.

Officers are still hunting for two more teens in the video.
