Video: Miami Beach Police Shoot & Kill Suspected Bank Robber

Florida cops shot and killed a suspected bank robber armed with a barber’s razor in the middle of a Miami Beach road, officials said.

Dramatic video recorded by a passerby showed the suspect clutch his chest and fall to the ground after a Miami Beach officer opened fire.

The unidentified man held up a Bank of America around 10:30 a.m., officials told NBC Miami. He told the teller he had a bomb, an employee who called 911 said.

The suspect fled the bank when cops arrived and ran into a nearby barbershop. He grabbed a straightedge razor and ran into the street, where he was surrounded by officers.

The brief, tense standoff was recorded in the bystander’s video. In the footage, the man took a step toward the armed officers and placed his hand on a squad car. One of the cops fired, and the man fell to the ground.

“Miami Beach Police Officers tried to talk him down, but he just wouldn't cooperate. Early morning shenanigans on Miami Beach. I just want my coffee with 3 creams and 3 sugars,” wrote Marcellus Johnson, who posted the clip to Instagram.
