VIDEO: MALL COP TASES A RATCHET HOE!

Step aside Paul Blart — there is a new mall cop in town.

A mall security guard tased a belligerent woman in a viral video, which has prompted viewers to overwhelming side with him in the skirmish.

Darren Long was hired as a security guard for the Metro Mall in Downtown Atlanta to suppress drugs and violence. He routinely faces difficult situations that he records with his lapel camera.

"I'm always outnumbered," Long said. "That's why I have the video camera. I'm always concerned for my safety but not to the point where I won't act."

Long said when he first arrived at the mall he kicked out people who were selling drugs and stolen goods. But a recent video of Long's scuffle with a disruptive mother has turned him into a temporary Internet celebrity.

"Everyone thinks the woman deserved to be Tased," Long told news magazine RightThisMinute.

Two women insulted Long and threatened him for over three minutes as he kept his composure. He repeatedly warned the women to "back it up."

The disorderly women's children even joined in, hurling glaringly homophobic insults at Long.

"That's why you gay!" said one small boy.

Long continually told the women not to re-enter the mall, but one in particular did not heed Long's warnings whatsoever. She walked back into the mall, put her face up to Long's and verbally threatened him, as her children continued to call him gay.

Once the confrontation turned physical, Long said he was forced to fire his Taser at her.

The weapon sent an electric current through her body, halting her control over her muscles. With her muscles incapacitated, she turned stiff and fell backward onto the sidewalk.

After the video went viral on the Internet, viewers have overwhelming sided with Long and his decision to Tase the woman.

Long hopes that upcoming changes will reduce the frequency of such incidents. "We are supposed to get 10 more police officers in this area," he said.

But Long as said that if he were confronted with the same situation again he would still respond the same way.

"Well, she was hitting me so I would Tase her," he said.

He aint wrong for tasing that Ratchet Hoe!
