Video Footage Appears To Show Cellphone Exploding On CeeLo Green

Singer CeeLo Green may have been the latest victim of an exploding phone.

Recently surfaced video footage appears to show the former "Voice" coach speaking on his cellphone in a recording studio when the phone suddenly explodes right against his face.

Green instantly falls out of his chair and lies on the ground before the video cuts out.

It is unclear when the incident happened as there is no timestamp on the surveillance footage.

The video was published by the user "I am Philly Chase," but he doesn't share how it was obtained.

Fellow R&B artist Omarion tweeted to CeeLo, "Sooo manyyyy prayers & light to you brother!!!! I [praying] your hearing is ok!!!"

Several reports state that the phone was a Samsung Galaxy Note 7, as the phone was discontinued earlier this year for commonly overheating and exploding. However, the video is filmed from several feet away making it difficult to distinguish the type of device.

Some social media users were quick to speculate about the video, wondering if it's actually the famous singer.

"That CeeLo Green video fake," one user wrote.

Another questioned, "is that CeeLo Green video real or not?"

While many questioned the video's authenticity, countless fans continue to worry if the star is alright.

The R&B star has yet to comment publicly and his last tweet was made nearly 24 hours ago.
