Unlike Carmen Electra, it seems Toni Braxton was never part of Dennis Rodman’s little black book.
The 52-year-old Braxton on Monday dismissed rumors she and Rodman were ever an item, not long after the former NBA star’s personal life was profiled on ESPN’s “The Last Dance.”
“Even though @dennisrodman was kinda hot in the 90s, I never dated Dennis Rodman. We were at the VMAs. #TheLastDance,” the singer tweeted, sharing photos from the duo at the 1996 Video Music Awards.
Sunday’s installment of the ESPN docuseries, which chronicles the Bulls’ 1997-98 season, put Rodman in the spotlight, including a Las Vegas misadventure involving then-girlfriend Electra.
Electra, 48, also elaborated on her sexcapades with Rodman, 58, in a separate interview with the Los Angeles Times.
“One day when the Bulls had an off day from practicing, Dennis said he had a surprise for me,” Electra said. “He blindfolds me and we get on his motorcycle. When he finally takes my blindfold off, we’re standing at the Bulls practice facility, center court. It was crazy, like two kids in a candy store. We were eating Popsicles from the fridge and pretty much having sex all over the damn place — in the physical therapy room, in the weight room. Obviously on the court.”
Electra married Rodman in late 1998. They called it quits less than a year later.
