Toni Braxton Reportedly Spent Four Days In The Hospital For Lupus

Toni Braxton was reportedly hospitalized for four days from symptoms related to her Lupus.

The “Un-break My Heart” singer had been in an Atlanta hospital for four days, according to TMZ.

Her boyfriend, rapper Birdman, reportedly jumped on a plane from his tour in Texas to be at her bedside.

Braxton announced in 2010 that she had been diagnosed with Lupus, a chronic, autoimmune disease that can affect any part of the body.

Lupus symptoms can include extreme fatigue, headaches, hair loss, abnormal blood clotting, fever and painful or swollen joints, according to the Lupus Foundation of America.

Braxton was also hospitalized in January and December 2012.

There is no word on whether Braxton admitted herself to the hospital or was brought there by ambulance.

Towanda Braxton said that her sister is home and resting.

"Thanks everyone for your concern, Toni is home safe & sound," Towanda tweeted. "She is currently home resting and getting ready for The Hits Tour."

Tamar Braxton posted a video of her sister in what appears to be a hospital bed.

"You are home SAFE and We can make you smile even when you're faking like you feel well enough to laugh at the joke," she wrote.
