Tisha Campbell-Martin doesn’t want her soon-to-be ex-husband Duane Martin to come near her.
The “Martin” actress was granted a restraining order against Duane, after claiming he allegedly abused her repeatedly over the years — even once punching her in the chest, reports TMZ. He must remain at least 100 yards away.
Tisha claims that in December, Duane “grabbed me by the arm to try to get me in the bedroom.” She says she filed a police report in January after the altercation.
Tisha, who also starred on the family comedy “My Wife and Kids,” claims that Duane began verbally, emotionally and physically abusing her in the beginning of their marriage back in 1996. She adds that he also repeatedly chastised her over her weight and career.
“I can no longer live in fear of retaliation,” she said. “The need [to] press criminal charges for his acts overshadows the embarrassment of making his crimes against me public through this report.”
Tisha filed for divorce in February 2018 after 22 years of marriage. The former pair share two sons, Ezekiel and Xen.
