FBI agents raided iconic Subway pitchman Jared Fogle’s Indiana home amid a child porn investigation Tuesday.
The 37-year-old was detained outside of his Zionsville house as a special taskforce removed electronics from the property and took them to a mobile forensics van parked in his driveway, WTHR reported.
Fogle's wife and kids left just after the 6:30 a.m. raid began, local media reported.
He was not immediately arrested.
Fogle became "The Subway Guy" after he lost 245 pounds by eating nothing but the sandwich shop’s food.
He started his Subway diet in 1998, when he was a 425-pound junior at Indiana University in Bloomington.
Fogle shed 94 pounds in three months by eating one 6-inch turkey sub and one full-length veggie sub every day. Within a year, he was down to just 200 pounds — less than half of his starting weight.
The sub chain took note and quickly incorporated Fogle into his advertising campaign.
Fogle still appears in some of Subway's ads.
"We are shocked about the news and believe it is related to a prior investigation of a former Jared Foundation employee,” the company said in a statement. “We are very concerned and will be monitoring the situation closely. We don’t have any more details at this point.”
