Beyoncé’s Body Inspires Skyscraper Design In Australia

Beyoncé's fiercely curvaceous frame is a showstopper for men and women alike. Now, it's even inspired architecture.

The 33-year-old singer's body is the inspiration for a skyscraper in Australia, reports Dezeen magazine.

Designers at the Aussie firm Elenberg Fraser were drawn to Beyoncé's "Ghost" music video when projecting what the 68-story Premier Tower at 134 Spencer St. in Melbourne would look like.

"The form does pay homage to something more aesthetic," the company's website states. "We're going to trust you've seen the music video for Beyoncé's 'Ghost.'"

Queen Bey's figure and the fabric-wrapped bodies of the dancers in her hauntingly sexy music video inspired a skyscraper that boasts a series of curves and bulges designed to make it as structurally efficient as possible, the mag described.

While the project is still in the planning process after being approved by planning officials in May, it will include retail space, 660 apartments and 160 hotel rooms.

"Readers are crazy in love with this Beyoncé-inspired skyscraper," Dezeen mag captioned a projected image of the skyscraper on Twitter.

Visitors to the Melbourne will get an eye full of the new structure once complete as it will sit directly in front of the city's Southern Cross station — the first thing people see when arriving, the company's website described adding, "We're not going to deny that this is one stunning building — after all, the simplest solutions are usually the best."
