THE NYPD CAUSED JUELZ SANTANA TO MISS CHRIS BROWN'S PARTY!

Juelz Santana missed a performance at Chris Brown's record release party for his album F.A.M.E., after police stopped the rapper and searched him for guns and drugs.

The New York Post reports that Juelz was supposed to hit the stage with Chris Brown on Tuesday (March 22nd), but he was stopped at the door by police.

While no one was arrested, Juelz was not allowed to enter the building during the search, which caused him to miss his entire performance with Chris Brown.

"Nobody got arrested. They were just giving him a hard time," said Juelz' lawyer Joe Wunstop told The New York Post. "By the time they finished searching, Juelz was upset -- so it wouldn't have made for a good show. He's not part of the Bloods gang."

Wunstop told The New York Post that police stopped Juelz because members of his entourage "might be affiliated -- friend bring friends and he's a really friendly dude."

Juelz Santana's studio was raided in January of 2010, after a 10-month investigation by the Bergen County Prosecutors Office and Gang Unit.

One of Juelz' associates Toby "Hynief" Raynor was also arrested in the raid, which was executed shortly after a report was released claiming New Jersey is completely saturated with members of the Bloods street gang.

On two accounts in the Summer of June and July of 2010, Hynief sold an undisclosed amount of marijuana to two undercover officers with the Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Gang Unit.

When police raided Juelz' Bergen County recording studio, officers found two fully loaded 9mm handguns, along with several boxes of ammunition.

Police also found 17 zip lock bags of high grade marijuana.

Juelz Santana, born LaRon James, is currently free on $125,000 bail.
