Tekashi 6ix 9ine’s Music Videos Will Be Used As Evidence Against His Alleged Kidnapper

Rapper Tekashi 6ix 9ine‘s music videos could become evidence against his alleged kidnapper.

Prosecutors Monday announced they intend to present 6ix 9ines’ videos against reputed members of the Nine Trey Bloods Gang accused of kidnapping and robbing the rainbow-haired entertainer.

“The Government expects to offer at trial at least four rap videos, which are publicly available, and that provide context to certain disputes between Nine Trey and rival gang members,” prosecutors wrote in court papers related to alleged rapper-napper Aljeremiah “Nuke” Mack’s criminal case.

“The Government also expects to elicit testimony from cooperating witnesses about these rap videos.”

Mack, 33, is accused of plotting with fellow Nine Trey member Anthony “Harv” Ellison to kidnap and rob the rapper, whose real name is Daniel Hernandez, in Crown Heights in July 2018. The duo allegedly swiped some $750,000 worth of jewelry and $20,000 in cash.

The filing doesn’t say which videos, but explains that prosecutors intend to use videos featuring “appearances by members of Nine Trey, including Ellison, and lyrics that pertain to certain disputes between CW-2 and rival rappers.”

CW-2 is a reference to Tekashi, who was once associated with the Nine Trey group, according to sources familiar with the case and court documents.

Mack is charged with racketeering, gun and narcotics charges for his alleged role as a member of the gang.

He’s pleaded “not guilty.”
