Rihanna Calls Out President Trump After Two Mass Shootings In 24 Hours

Rihanna has gone public Sunday to call out the President Donald Trump after two mass shootings left at least 29 dead and 53 injured over the course of just 13 hours.

On Saturday, a gunman opened fire at a Walmart in El Paso, Texas, leaving 20 dead and 26 injured. Less than a day later, nine people were killed and at least 27 were injured at a popular bar in downtown Dayton, Ohio.

n a message to her 166 million followers across Twitter and Instagram, the singer condemned Trump for not doing more to control the sale of assault rifles and combat home grown terrorism in the United States.

“Um… Donald, you spelt ‘terrorism’ wrong! Your country had 2 terrorist attacks back to back hours apart leaving almost 30 innocent people dead,” she began. “This, just days after yet another terrorist attack in California, where a terrorist was able to LEGALLY purchase an assault rifle (AK-47) in Vegas, then drive hours to a food festival in Cali leaving 6 more people dead including a young infant baby boy!”

The singer then pointed out the president’s anti-immigration and pro-gun policies: “Imagine a world where it’s easier to get an AK-47 than a VISA! Imagine a world where they build a wall to keep terrorists IN AMERICA!!!”

She gave her condolences for the victims of the senseless violence. “My prayers and deepest condolences to the families and loved ones of all the victims from Texas, California, and Ohio! I’m so sorry for your loss! Nobody deserves to die like this! NOBODY!” she said.

Rhianna is amongst many celebrities calling for action in the wake of the shooting for tighter gun control.
