Taraji P. Henson Is Engaged To Former NFL Pro Kelvin Hayden

Taraji P. Henson announced early Monday that she said yes to boyfriend Kelvin Hayden’s marriage proposal.

Henson kept her relationship with Hayden, who played for the Chicago Bears and the Indianapolis Colts, under wraps until December 2017, when she confirmed the longtime speculation.

“I’m not the type to blast my personal business. But, you know, I think that’s important for people to know. I’m happy. I’m very very happy. I just am,” the “Empire” actress shared Thursday on Essence’s “Yes, Girl!” podcast.

“I’m happy in my personal life,” she added. “Finally, it happened to me!”
