Tamar Braxton Files For Divorce From Husband Vincent Herbert

Singer and TV personality Tamar Braxton is calling it quits on her long marriage.

Braxton, 40, has filed for divorce from her husband of nearly nine years Vincent Herbert on Tuesday, according to documents obtained by TMZ.

Braxton was introduced to Herbert by her sister Toni Braxton and the two began dating in 2003. Toni Braxton and Herbert, a record executive, had been working together when she felt he would be a good match for her sister.

Tamar filed the docs after the couple had a domestic dispute in an Atlanta hotel in 2016 in which the cops were called. Herbert, 44, allegedly bit her hand during the argument, the gossip site reported.

The couple shares a 4-year-old son named Logan Vincent.

Sources told TMZ that Tamar Braxton moved out of the family home recently and that the relationship has been a roller coaster ever since the altercation.

Herbert told Entertainment Tonight in July that the couple's marriage was "totally fine" amid divorce speculation.

The final season of the pair's reality show “Tamar and Vince” will air in November 2017. The show is a spin-off of the family’s reality show “Braxton Family Values.”

Tamar Braxton has also served as host of “The Real” and has a deal in the works for her own talk show and television series with Steve Harvey’s production company, East 112th Street Productions.
