A Brooklyn company is suing Swizz Beatz for allegedly conspiring with an auto dealer to resell high-end vehicles that the music producer had leased for himself and wife Alicia Keys.
The $42 million civil racketeering lawsuit filed Wednesday in Brooklyn Federal Court by Metro-Gem Leasing & Funding Corp., accuses Swizz, whose real name is Kasseem Dean, of leasing 11 cars through his production company and middle-man Macky Dancy.
The suit alleges that after a Ferrari F-12 lease went into default, Dancy “conspired” with Swizz to resell the car to a third party.
Four other leases went into default, said Metro-Gem’s lawyer Paul Solda.
