A grim clip has surfaced showing former Death Row Records impresario Suge Knight joking about N.W.A. rapper Eazy-E's death from AIDS.
In the video dug up by Complex magazine over the weekend, Knight makes the remorseless joke during a 2003 appearance on "Jimmy Kimmel Live," which had debuted on ABC earlier that year.

The then-fresh faced late night host wore a bulletproof vest for the interview, prompting Knight to muse about how using a gun is a stupid way of killing someone.
"They got this new thing out ... they get blood from somebody with AIDS and they shoot you with it. That's a slow death," Knight says, cackling.
"The Eazy-E thing, you know what I mean?" Knight says, wagging his cigar. The remark drew big groans from the crowd, and left Kimmel struggling to get the interview back on track.
Eazy-E and Knight famously feuded over Dr. Dre's wish to leave N.W.A. to join Knight in forming what would eventually become Death Row. As the story goes, Knight and his goons roughed up Eazy in order to convince him to let Dre out of his contract with Eazy's Ruthless Records.
A dozen years later, Knight's no longer laughing.
The 50-year-old is in jail on murder and attempted murder charges stemming from a Jan. 29 hit and run incident in Compton, Calif.
Eazy-E and the rest of N.W.A., meanwhile, are the subject of the critically heralded film, "Straight Outta Compton," which dominated the box office with a $56 million debut weekend.
Eazy, whose real name was Eric Wright, died in 1995 due to complications from AIDS.
