Steve Harvey Signs Tamar Braxton For Talk Show

Tamar Braxton is still going to keep it real.

A week-and-a-half after being shockingly fired from talk show "The Real," the 39-year-old has landed a new gig — courtesy of another talk show host.

Steve Harvey announced Thursday he has signed a deal to produce a new show for Braxton.

"We saw the opportunity of what people may recognize as the end, but it's not," he said on his radio show.

"It's such a beginning. She has such a bright future. She is such a star. She has so much to offer," he continued.

The two didn't reveal any specifics about the show but Braxton thanked Harvey on Instagram for "such an amazing opportunity," adding the hashtag "Iaintsorry."

While chatting with Harvey on his radio show, the younger sister of singer Toni Braxton finally opened up on her outing at the BET daytime chat fest, calling the network's decision "out of the blue."

The singer recalled how her husband and manager, Vincent Herbert, broke the news of her forced departure from the talk show.

"He was just like, 'I think you got fired, I think,'" she explained. "I'm like, 'What you talking about? Fired for what?' My heart sunk into my shoes, really. I pretty much fell over."

She claims she was not told why she was let go.

However, a day before her exit became public she cryptically seemed to hint on Instagram that she was "stabbed in the back by someone I stupidly trusted."

The former "Dancing with the Stars" contestant later denied that a feud with her panel of former co-hosts had anything to do with the firing.

Whatever happened behind-the-scenes, Braxton declared she's moving forward.

"This is not a setback, this is a setup. I feel like if you don't look at things like this as a blessing, it won't be a blessing," she explained.

"I definitely feel like it is and I feel like from here, it's onward and upward," she said.

Braxton may be feeling motivated now but a clip filmed for reality show "Braxton Family Values" saw her break down in tears.

"This whole year sucked a--," she said amid tears, in an episode that aired Thursday night.

Braxton was on "The Real" since it premiered in 2013, joining actress Tamera Mowry, fashionista Jeannie Mai, singer Adrienne Bailon and comedian Loni Love.

She's the first of the talkative ladies to leave the show.
