The gangsta rap icon is now endorsing his own wine.
Snoop Dogg has entered a new multi-year partnership with 19 Crimes, a line of wines inspired by the convicts turned colonists that built Australia.
“I’ve been a fan of this wine, and I’m excited to unveil my ‘Snoop Cali Red’ this summer and share the experience with all my fans,” he said in a company statement. “It’s one of the most successful brands in the market, so I’m more than eager to bring this collaboration to the world!”
The 48-year-old Long Beach, Calif., native, who had recent endorsement deals with Dunkin Donuts, The General insurance and Doritos, is the “perfect partner” for this new pact, according to 19 Crimes marketing vice president John Wardley.
“Snoop embodies the spirit of 19 Crimes — rule-breaking, culture creating and overcoming adversity. We are truly excited to partner with Snoop and welcome him to the 19 Crimes family,” he said.
Snoop, whose real name is Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., will also be included in the company’s Living Wine Labels app, which will offer fellow wine connoisseurs a chance to learn more about him through a virtual experience.
