It's been nearly a year since Rihanna was brutally assaulted by her then-boyfriend Chris Brown, and now Star exclusively reveals charges of abuse by the ex-girlfriend of the singer's new man.
During their Mexican vacation earlier this month, Rihanna and Los Angeles Dodgers star Matt Kemp didn’t skimp on affection, indulging in PDA all over Cabo San Lucas. But a Star investigation reveals that Matt has been accused of having his own anger management issues — including violence toward women!
In June 2008, actress Felisha Terrell filed a restraining order against the 6'4", 220-lb. ballplayer -- whom she had been living with -- accusing him of threatening, intimidating and stalking her. In the papers, the one-time Days of Our Lives star states: “He is violent and I am afraid.”
Rihanna's friends are afraid, too.
“You’d think after what she went through with Chris, RiRi would be extra careful about learning the background of any man she gets close to,” one of them tells Star. “It’s almost as if she has a dark side of her own — an attraction to bad boys.”
Pick up the Feb. 1 issue of Star today to read the serious accusations against Matt and view the restraining order. Plus: Rihanna's friends discuss being "fearful" about her new relationship.
