Rihanna is lending her voice to one of TV's most popular reality shows.
The "Diamonds" singer will serve as a key adviser on "The Voice" this season, NBC president Robert Greenblatt announced Thursday at the TCA press tour in Beverly HIlls.
"This is one of music's true supervisors coming on board to influence the lives and careers of the performers," he said.
Rihanna is just the latest music star to serve as key adviser on “The Voice”: Taylor Swift, fun. frontman Nate Ruess and Coldplay singer Chris Martin have taken on the role in the past three seasons.
As an adviser, the “Stay” singer will mentor contestants from all four teams — led by coaches Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Gwen Stefani and Pharrell Williams — during the Knockout Rounds.
The network previously announced that country singer Brad Paisley would serve as an adviser to Shelton's team, while John Fogerty will be a mentor for Levine's.
Season 9 of “The Voice” premieres Sept. 21.
