Raven-Symone Joins ‘The View’ As Permanent Co-Host

Raven-Symone has nabbed a permanent seat on "The View."

The 29-year-old actress, who has been guest hosting for the past few months, was announced as an official member of the daytime TV talkfest by ABC on Wednesday.

"The Disney Company has made another one of my dreams come true! Being a part of 'The View' family will be a wonderful growing experience for me," the former "Cosby" kid said in a statement.

"I have a lot to learn within this new arena, but being the apprentice of these spectacular women will only make me a better person and talk show host."

Raven-Symone joins current hosts Whoopi Goldberg, Nicolle Wallace and Rosie Perez on the long-running program, which is currently in its 18th season.

The announcement comes four months after comedian Rosie O'Donnell abruptly quit just a few months into her second stint as a co-host.

The "League of Their Own" star, who left in February, said she was walking away due to stress caused by health problems and the end of her marriage.

Barbara Walters, who retired from the show in May 2014 but remains an executive producer, called Raven-Symone "a welcome addition" to the roundtable.

"She is happy, amusing and well-informed, and has already brought a unique perspective to the program that has resonated with our audience."
