Rapper Kevin Gates Says He Dated His Cousin For Two Years

Kevin Gates is not shy about keeping it in the family.

The Louisiana rapper has posted a jaw-dropping confessional that after dating a woman for three "beautiful" months he found out that she's his cousin.

What's the "Stranger Than Fiction" artist do? He keeps seeing her.

"Why f--- up a good thing?" the 28-year-old bluntly said in one of two videos shared with his 1.3 million Instagram followers this week.

Gates said people had remarked on the pair resembling brother and sister before his grandmother came and dropped the bomb that they're actually family.

"But I ain't about to stop f---ing with her. S---, the p---y good and we click," he said.

Gates — whose tracks include "Don't Know What to Call It" and "Thinking With My D---" — told TMZ that the relationship actually first started back in 2006 — and they remained together for nearly two years after.

He said he never found out whether she was his first, second or third cousin.
