Rae Sremmurd’s “Black Beatles” Is The Number One Song In The Country

Rae Sremmurd’s song “Black Beatles” is the unofficial song of the viral video sensation known as the “Mannequin Challenge,” and thanks to the social media trend, the duo’s track off of SremmLife 2 is now the number one song in America, according to Billboard’s Hot 100 song chart.

The Gucci Mane-assisted track shot from number nine to number one, dethroning The Chainsmokers’ song “Closer,” which was number one for twelve weeks. This is the first number one song for Rae Sremmurd. Their highest charting single on the Hot 100 before “Black Beatles” was “No Type,” which peaked at number 16.
