IN THE STREETS & ON THE WEB

Even Grammy winners still like to play house.

Hip-hop powerhouse Pharrell Williams was photographed inside a miniature replica of artist John William Codling’s childhood home at the opening of his second show “Me I Play.”

Codling, who is an artist in residence in East Hampton, was a former Wall Street executive who abruptly left finance after the fallout of 2008. His first show, “Sundays with Chris,” featured a collection of paintings of actor Christopher Walken and was shown at the Diane von Furstenberg Gallery in 2009.

“Me I Play” is a 200-piece multimedia show that includes offbeat elements like a miniature Tina Turner. Guests like Williams waited for Codling to put the finishing touches on the show Saturday night.

Funny that in the Hamptons, where bigger is often considered better, the house that got the most attention was super-tiny.
